Clearly it's been entirely too long since I've posted on this blog of mine... but I just have to say that life has been insane!

But, alas, here I am again! And.. I come bearing GOOD NEWS!

I said here that there had been a TRAGEDY in the world of Sweet Tea when the Great American Cookie Company closed their doors at the mall... All of Wilmington was in an uproar and mall-goers were lost as they now only had Dairy Queen and Pretzels to eat during there trek across the mall.

But... Almost like a Christmas miracle, The Great American Cookie Company is BACK! AND With their amazing sweet tea AND pellet ice!

You can imagine the surprise and excitement I felt when my mom and I walked by and the sign was back up, employees were busy making cookies, and passing out samples. I stopped dead in my tracks and told my mom, "I am GETTING a sweet tea."

Large. Extra Ice.

And the lovely guy that's worked there ever since I can remember, still gave me my employee discount even though I haven't worked at the mall in years. This means, instead of paying $1.89+tax, Kara got her sweet tea for $1!! HOLLER!

So folks, it's now safe to journey back to Wilmington and to come to our mall. And I couldn't be more happy and excited to be able to tell you about this!
